Description
A well sized salad or serving bowl with a tall foot and painted with iron brushwork on the interior. The brushwork is abstract and gestural, done quickly and fluidly. The glaze shows different texture based on thickness. The clay is high in iron and reacts with the glaze producing interesting textures in the glaze.
This bowl is a great size for frequent use. It is great to hold due to the deep foot ring that has been carved into the base. The bowl stands stably and flat.
The glaze is food safe and will tolerate the dish washer but hand washing is recommended.
