Teaware

My exploration into making teaware is just beginning and is born out of an appreciation for natural materials I find around me and of course tea! My journey into tea is somewhat mirrored by my journey into making ceramics for tea and it is a process still under evolution. The teapots I am making are made exclusively from materials I have sourced and processed locally. Much like in Japan and China this provides a taste of the ‘terroir’ from here in the south of Sweden, historically a large ceramics center, although not so much tea.

This category is the least developed but please keep an eye out as I am continuing to experiment with these challenging pieces.
