Description
This teapot is made from stoneware clay from a local source in Helsingborg that I have processed myself. There is sand removed from a different local clay included to try to make the clay more stable. It is fired in a jar called a saggar with grass around it which has flashed creating the red hue on the side of the teapot. All of the materials used are locally collected and processed by hand. It is a slightly larger size nice for more than one person and intended for brewing loose leaf high quality teas.
The pouring is good with little to no dripping. The handle is comfortable to use. The clay is unglazed and will have some degree of affect on the tea which is brewed and will develop with time.
